Service Shop Supervisor - Leduc, Canada - Lufkin Industries
Description
Purpose:
The Service Shop Supervisor will be responsible for the over-seeing of employees in the shop and will be required to support shop and field activities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily activities of employees and ensure that manpower and equipment utilization is done in a cost effective manner while remaining compliant with company policies and regulatory bodies.
- Responsible for effectively assigning work to employees based on their skill level.
- Work with individuals at all levels of the organization to motivate for results.
- Tear down and repair of Pumpjacks, inspection of pumpjacks and loading/hauling of pumpjacks.
- Provide leadership in problem resolution, resource utilization, career coaching.
- Ensure adequate training is completed for team to be successful.
- Actively participate in budgeting and forecasting for production planning
- Responsible for maintaining Quality System and Safety Program for your location
- Responsible for Store Operation of Sales and Expense Budgets

- A high degree of attention to detail and good judgment
Qualifications:
- At least 10 additional years of experience in Field Services
- At least 3 years of experience in a management role
- Experience leading or managing projects of various size, duration and scope
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a team within a large, complex and matrixed organization
- Demonstrated Project Management skills
- Must be mechanically inclined
