Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Edmonton, AB, Canada - Ledcor Construction, Inc.

Description

You are safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Mechanic with experience working on CAT, Komatsu & Hitachi Equipment on project sites in Saskatchewan and BC.

This will be a full-time, project based position where you will play a key role within our equipment maintenance team.

This will be an employee position only, no contractor positions available at this time.

Provide support to PM Mechanics and Maintenance technicians
Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily field level hazard assessments for all activities
Complete maintenance reporting and other documentation as required
Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Journeyperson certification from a recognized training authority
Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift 12 hour days
