Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Planner to join our client's team for a temporary opportunity.This role focuses on planning and coordinating shipments, deliveries, and inventory management with customers and vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment.
- Manage and execute inbound load bookings, scheduling, and closures in E2Open customer portals.
- Coordinate with suppliers carriers internal teams ensuring timely pickups deliveries appointment scheduling validate shipment data across systems identify discrepancies escalate issues as needed oversee POD collection uploads resolve billing documentation errors process accessorial charges generate reports delivery performance carrier metrics analyze data recommend process improvements provide clear communication timely updates internal external stakeholders ensure smooth inbound operations
