We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to be an essential part of the financial backbone that supports our iconic brands.

You will be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks, from accounts payable and receivable to reconciliations and data entry.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the accounting team to handle accounts payable, operating expense and accounts receivable tasks, including:
  • Accounts Payable
  • Work with Operations Team to match invoices to purchase orders and post supplier invoices to the Netsuite accounting system daily
  • Consistently monitor inbound supplier invoices across electronic platforms to ensure all are processed and posted
  • Review outstanding invoice detail weekly to identify and summarize supplier invoices due for payment
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Review shipping documents to ensure aligned with Sales Orders
  • Fulfill and invoice shipments to customers
  • Issue invoices to customers
  • Correspond with customers regarding collection status and their statements of account
  • Process customer payments via cheque, etransfer and credit card across various electronic processing platforms
  • Operating Expenses
  • Post supplier invoices to the Netsuite accounting system daily
  • Process employee expense reports monthly in SAP Concur
  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements to accounting system on a monthly basis for completeness and accuracy
  • Ensure appropriate supporting documentation for all expenses is maintained
  • Ensure HST is captured accurately for all expenses
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Organize and maintain financial records, both digitally and physically.
  • Assist with data entry and analysis, contributing to informed financial decisions.

Qualifications & Competencies:


  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or 12 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for numbers.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage financial records efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • A passion for learning and making an impact.
