Job Summary:


The Project Administrator will provide clerical support to Project Coordinators and Project Managers and will contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of the site office.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Intakes all awarded work from client system in a timely and efficient matter to ensure we are meeting our contractual agreements
  • Prepares purchase orders for our subcontractors with the help of PMO team collaboration
  • Accepts and updates all Statement of Work (SOW) orders from our client, and is proficient in the systems these are kept in
  • Collects and tracks all documents needed for jobs once complete, by working closely with our subcontractors and PMO team
  • Communicates (written and oral) with all levels of management, clients, contractors, and visitors.
  • Carries out a wide range of diverse, sensitive, administrative, and operational duties for the PMO team
  • Other duties as assigned including special projects

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative support role (construction, architectural, engineering and/or commercial development industry preferred)
  • Experience working with a diverse team that operates in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer background including experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and JD Edwards or computerbased accounting systems
  • Excellent customer service focus, with an ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Superior communication, project administrative/coordination, organizational and writing skills
  • Independent, selfmotivated, able to take the initiative to liaise with other departments and/or external sources
  • Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving and listening skills
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, ability to maintain confidentiality and work with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and interruptions while meeting deadlines in a fastpaced environment
