Description

Ferguson Utility is a fast-growing underground utility contractor, which is currently seeking an experienced Directional Drill Operator and Lead Hand, to work on various construction sites at various locations in Southern Ontario.

• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• A valid AZ, DZ or ARZ driver's license is required with a clean driver's abstract.
• Must have a reliably mode of transportation to commute to work.
• Operators must have experience and skill at safely operating a directional drill and other heavy equipment.
• Laborer must have previous construction site experience and the ability to run machinery from time to time.
• Must be willing to partake in other roles that may be assigned from time to time.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work alongside people of various backgrounds and abilities.
• Attention to detail for machine maintenance and daily paperwork requirements.
• Positive attitude towards problem solving.
• Must have willingness to work away from home as required from time to time.
• Able to work upwards of 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in various weather conditions.
• Maintains and uses the appropriate PPE including high visibility clothing, hard hat and work boots.
