We are looking for a dedicated, dynamic, and informed teacher to join our school family.

We are looking for a teacher who will work well as a part of a team to develop and implement competency-based Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Student Support Plans (SSPs) while caring for and supporting students' emotional well-being and development.

King David is a young and growing school with approximately 260 students, about one-quarter of whom receive targeted support (including IEPs, SSPs, or other interventions).

The successful candidate will have a combination of background experience, education, and professional development related to working with students who have diverse learning needs, mental health challenges, physical disabilities, and/or medical issues.

Relevant Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated competence in senior math and sciences
Background experience and/or education related to IEPs and the BC Ministry of Education Special Education policies and documentation requirements
A desire to always improve one's teaching practice and the learning experience for students
