Hunt Club Nissan is an AutoCanada dealership. We are looking for a
Lube Technician to join our growing team You will play a crucial role in terms of quickly and efficiently performing routine maintenance on our customer's vehicles. The Lube Technician is responsible for inspecting and lubricating customer's vehicles in accordance with policies and procedures as set forth by the Service Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Performs Oil & filter changes.
  • Sells lubrication, safety inspection and other related services.
  • Maintains records on regular customers, following up periodically with telephone, mail, or personal reminders.
  • Perform complete multipoint inspection on vehicle & check & mark all required items on check list as required & present findings to the Service Advisor.
  • Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
  • Replaces oil and air filters.
  • Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces, or replenishes as necessary.
  • Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.
  • Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants.
  • Tire mounting/balancing, rotations, and repairs.
  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Documents all work performed on the repair order.
  • Participates in manufacturersponsored training programs as assigned by service manager.
  • Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean.
  • Notifies Service Advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
  • Keeps shop area neat and clean.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Automotive knowledge, certified training and experience is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity working with ADP and CDK programs is considered an asset.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Efficient problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using to use power and handheld equipment.
