Description

As an Irrigation Installer and Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.

Your expertise in irrigation design, installation, and troubleshooting will contribute to the efficient use of water resources and the health of landscapes.

• Install new irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, sprinklers, and controllers according to design plans
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure proper system functionality.
• Repair or replace damaged components as needed.
• Adjust sprinkler heads and nozzles to optimize coverage.
• Program timers to meet watering requirements of each zone.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues promptly.

• Assist management in interacting with clients and landscape designers to create effective irrigation plans.
• Lay out irrigation lines and determine optimal placement for sprinklers.
• Select appropriate materials and equipment for each project.

• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Provide detailed reports to clients and management.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards

• Previous experience in irrigation installation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with various irrigation systems (drip, spray, rotor).
• Knowledge of irrigation controllers and timers.

• Strong problemsolving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Irrigation Technician) are an asset but are not required.

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to dig for prolonged periods of time
• Capable of conducting repetitive up and down movements
