Responsibilities:


As an integral member of the Califia Farms Supply Chain and commercial team working in Canada, this role will drive maximum customer service levels and on shelf availability (OSA) while maintaining the highest possible level of freshness, lowest waste and the lowest total delivered cost for the Canadian business.

As a Supply Chain analyst, you will support our Canadian consumers driving out waste and exceeding customer and consumer expectations.

You will be the primary Canadian contact within the Califia Supply Chain team to execute local supply plans, specialty promotions, seasonal programs and optimize inventory and service throughout the network.

You will have cross functional partners within Califia including the US Supply Chain Planning, Sales leadership in Canada, Operations finance, and key external partners including:
customers and distributors replenishment and logistics contacts, 3PL providers and GS1 Canada.

Demand and Supply Planning

  • Lead the local S&OP business process with developing and managing key inputs, measures and actions that role into Califia total S&OP plans
  • Provide category and SKU demand signals across channels to the demand planning team to develop a short, medium, and longterm view incorporating base business, new listings, delistings, promotions, and new product launches
  • Work directly with customers on forecasting/replenishment efforts
  • Support SKU rationalization efforts and subsequent discontinuation/inventory runouts to minimize waste and disruption
  • Manage new item introductions to maximize sales and develop an exit strategy for discontinued items to minimize markdown exposure
Order and Demand Management

  • Monitor customer orders and inventory levels across all channels (direct and indirect) providing realtime alerts and exceptions that will secure maximum service levels and BIS
  • Track customer level fill rate, on time and in full (OTIF) and conduct root cause analysis to identify drivers of low performance
  • With a lens to days on hand and freshness verify accuracy of shipments both inbound and out bound. Follow up on, and resolve, shipping issues such as late deliveries, shortshipped orders, and other customeridentified issues, claim resolution
  • Manage short code and work with sales to manage clearance or aged and aging products to avoid disposal
  • Manages logistics for tradeshows, sponsorships and partnerships
  • Monitor and mitigate customer fines, building strong relationships with customer level replenishment teams
Logistics

  • Work closely with the Logistics and Deployment teams to ensure orders are delivered on time in the most costeffective manner
  • Closely monitor onhand inventory at Canadian 3PL via Anaplan, and assist with daily stock control of goods inbound and outbound to customers, communicating needs to Supply Planning, Deployment, Logistics and Customer Service
  • Develop leading measures and KPI's that enable proactive adjustments by both the Califia and logistics providers
Efficiency & Effectiveness

  • Identify processes to resolve issues or gaps and present optimized solutions to improve operational efficiencies and product quality
  • Master data accuracy (SKU, customer, reason coding, lane definitions) both within Califia but also the 3PL's and customers, including, new customer set up
  • Sales sample manage to supply sales and customers
  • Align with GS1 Canada requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years in Supply Chain/Demand Supply Planning, or Operations Finance
  • Experience working with different channels and flows including distributor and direct models
  • Bachelor's degree, PMP certification is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to simplify the complex and focus on leading actions and indicators
  • Building transparency proven experience in data analysis, tool development and commercial partner interaction experience
  • Lead and collaborate strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Thrive in a fast paced, high growth industry
