The Lung Association of NS and PEI is seeking an
Office and Programs Coordinator. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Finance and will be responsible for implementing programs and providing administrative support to the team.

Programs include Links Fore Lungs Golf Book, the Sleep Apnea Refurbishment Program, the volunteer program and a variety of regional programs throughout the year.


Responsibilities:


  • Administers the Sleep Apnea Refurbishment Program, which includes the collections process, referral process, managing waitlist, distribution of machines, etc.
  • Coordinates the Links Fore Lungs Golf Book
  • Provides highquality customer service at reception, including answering phones, greeting visitors, etc.
  • As required, plan, organize, and coordinate functions and special events for the Leadership Team
  • Provides administrative support for the management and different committees
  • Oversees and maintains the inventory of office supplies, ensuring that all office equipment is in good working order
  • Maintains and safeguards all organization assets, such as equipment, electronic documents, etc.
  • Other duties as a requirement_

Qualifications and Skills:


  • A diploma in Business Administration, Health Promotion, or a related field of study and experience in the role is an asset
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience or health promotion
  • Established record in coordination, planning and organizing an office
  • Selfmotivated, independent, and effectively prioritized workflow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated the ability to work with a minimum of supervision and to develop working relationships with all members of the organization

Working Conditions:


  • 37.5 hours Monday Friday
  • Work is in an office environment
  • May require occasional irregular hours (evenings, weekends)
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle


This position with the LANSPEI will provide a competitive salary between $40,000 - $50,000 and enrolment in a group insurance plan.


Salary:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Program Coordinator: 2 years (preferred)
Health Promotion: 2 years (preferred)

  • Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
