Based in Vancouver, the Co-op/Intern, Asset Management will report to the Vice President, International Asset Management and will support QuadReal's International Asset Management team in providing analytical support for multiple asset types (multifamily, office, industrial and student housing) on the company's growing number of assets in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.

What You Will Experience:


  • Learn and Understand all aspects of asset managing real estate through its lifecycle acquisition/development, business plan implementation, stabilization and disposition
  • Assist in the monitoring of investments, including the maintenance, the analysis and the review of monthly/quarterly reports, construction progress metrics, operating performance, development costs and other KPS again underwriting/budget
  • Develop working knowledge and lease agreement to assist with project tracking and oversight responsibilities
  • Work with multiple teams to audit and maintain proprietary databases and reporting dashboard for accurate and timely reporting
  • Analyze project sustainability, wellness and smart building specifications against programmatic goals and portfolio wide performance benchmarks
  • Understand and be exposed to all aspects of asset managing real estate through its lifecycle—acquisition/development, business plan implementation, stabilization, and disposition
  • Work collaboratively and provide support, assistance, and backup to other team members

What You'll Bring:


  • Currently enrolled in an academic program preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics/Statistic or Economics. Working towards CFA is considered an asset
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detailoriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Argus Enterprise a plus.
  • Previous experience working within a real estate company (asset management or development), real estate brokerage or advisory firm, appraisal firm, or real estate lender is desirable. A strong interest in developing a career within real estate is essential.
