Description
Build relationships and maintain customer rapport by using effective communication to promptly answer questions and addressing concerns.- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
- Provides the highest levels of customer service, both internally and externally, with the goal of continuously improving the customer experience and retention.
- Maintain accurate records and document all customer service activities and discussions.
- Communicate proficiently with customers, staff, and management to report any problems or delays regarding service and/or parts deliveries.
- Keep management aware of situations that might need management intervention or that might adversely affect the business reputation, profitability or customer satisfaction.
- Create effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards.
- Other duties as assigned and as may be amended from time to time to meet company objectives.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years automotive service experience
- Service advisor and/or Service Management experience considered an asset
- Experience with CDK Dealer Management system and the Microsoft Office Suite is an asset
- Basic technological and mechanical knowledge of how a vehicle operates is an asset
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills with a positive, professional attitude
- Proven leadership skills and being able to manage a team while leading by example
- Ability to provide and demonstrate a client first experience while motivating the department
- Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask and work in a demanding environment
- Selfmotivated and have excellent time management skills
- Excellent attendance is a must and consistently arrives to work on time
