    The Gear Centre Group, a leading provider of powertrain parts and service for the automotive, heavy truck and off highway equipment industries, is currently seeking aDeliveryDriverfor our west end Edmonton location.

    As theDeliveryDriveryou are responsible to accurately pick up and deliver parts in the greater Edmonton area.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Drive the companyone ton truck with manual transmissionin a cautious, responsible manner in all weather conditions
    • Pick up & delivery of product for our branches and external customers
    • Maintain friendly, courteous communications providing updates regarding the status of deliveries
    • Strong attention to detail ensuring the accuracy of all orders
    • Ability to safely operate forklift and pallet jack

    Experience:

    • 1-3 years of previous driving experience would be considered an asset

    Qualifications:

    • ValidClass 5 driver's licensewith an acceptable driver's abstract required
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities on a daily basis
    • A thorough knowledge of the greater Edmonton areas and ability to locate addresses easily
    • Must possess excellent customer service skill
