    Role overview


    We are seeking a seasoned professional with demonstrated ability in Property & Casualty (P&C) commercial lines insurance consulting, focusing on the Canadian markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engagement execution, program management, and business development within this sector.

    What you'll do

    • Lead consulting engagements, identifying problems and translating engagement objectives into defined scopes and executable tasks for team members.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to form problem statements and develop solutions
    • Apply comprehensive understanding of core P&C personal and commercial lines insurance products to drive transformation programs.
    • Work with COTS platforms such as Guidewire and/or Duck Creek to implement innovative solutions and optimize business processes.
    • Develop business cases, roadmaps, and present summary recommendations, including relevant people, process, and technology solutions.
    • Lead transformation programs, coordinating multiple teams and practices within the organization to ensure successful project delivery.

    What you bring to the role

    • 8-12 years of experience in P&C commercial lines insurance consulting in Canada
    • Proven track record of working on transformation programs in areas such as underwriting, claims, and agent/broker facing capabilities.
    • Experience working with COTS platforms, specifically Guidewire and/or Duck Creek.
    • Strong engagement execution and program management skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field (preferred).
    • Certification in project management or insurance (e.g., CPCU, CIC) is a plus.

    Working arrangements


    We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON.
