Description

We are searching for a full-time or part-time, hardworking and reliable housekeeper to join our Housekeeping team.

At Quality Inn & Suites our reputation depends on our ability to offer a clean and comfortable stay for our guests.

We value our guests' feedback and want to ensure a quality experience; therefore, we are looking to hire a housekeeper with integrity and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths.
Strip and make beds, changing bed linens.
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
Replenish amenities, supplies, and linens in guest rooms.
Clean rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated achieving standards of cleanliness and presentation as per company policy.
Clean and maintain all public spaces within the hotel including spa room and restrooms.
Coordinate linen delivery to Room Attendant areas on each guest floor.
Restock housekeeping carts for next day.
Report all maintenance faults/notify supervisor of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
Follow lost and found procedures.
Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer's instructions.
Other duties as assigned such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Requires good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be able to stand and exert wellpaced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 140 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Part-time hours: 24-32 per week

From $16.50 per hour
