Currently seeking a professional and energetic associate to join our team
If you thrive in a team environment, are able to adapt quickly throughout the day, can handle and appreciate the physical requirements of working in the winery and are excited about interacting with a wide variety of people, this job is for you.
- Weekly work schedules will vary, offering approximately 15 to 20 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Assisting customers with inperson and telephone inquiries
- Recording customer orders and operating computerized cash registers
- Processing customer wine, monitoring inventory and stocking shelves
- Cleaning floors, dusting, maintaining equipment
- Developing and updating knowledge of products, services and policies
- Assisting bottlers with the handling of products
Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- Repetitive moving and lifting of objects varying in weight, up to 50 lbs
- Standing for extended periods; reaching, climbing, bending, twisting and walking
- Knowledge of wine and grape varieties is an asset
