Exigences

  • Certificat PAB
  • Certificat de premiers soins/RCR récent
  • Un permis de conduire et un véhicule (un atout mais pas obligatoire)
  • Capable de travailler de façon autonome ainsi qu'en équipe
  • Compétences interpersonnelles bien développées
  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles
  • Des compétences efficaces en résolution de problèmes et en gestion de conflits
  • Capacité de bien travailler dans un environnement en évolution
  • Une appréciation démontrée des processus d'amélioration de la qualité
  • Compétences en informatiques seraient un atout

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

  • Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
  • A nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
  • Home Support Level 2 or level 3 from a recognized curriculum
  • Valid Developmental Support Worker Certificate
  • Valid Certificate as a Health Care Aide
  • Valid Certificate as a Personal Attendant
  • Graduates of a Paramedic Program

Requirements:


  • Current First Aid (Standard) / CPR Certificate (Level C)
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle (recommended, not required).
  • Current immunization record including (TB test completed within the past 12 months) is required upon hire
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening is required upon hire
  • Availability to work days OR evenings; including weekends
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent organizational skills to manage your schedule
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and customer service skills, to effectively communicate with clients and to provide companionship to those who need it
  • Effective problemsolving and conflict management skills
  • Basic computer/smartphone skills would be an asset.
  • This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fiftyfive (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
