    What you'll do
  • The Project Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating the utilization of resources across divisions of the project to reach targets. This position is responsible for ensuring successful project management for all IT projects by planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of specific projects. The incumbent will submit project deliverables, prepare status reports and effective project plans. This position reports to the Manager, IT Project Management Office.
    What you'll bring
  • Understanding of BC Higher Education business environments.
  • Project Management (PMP), Lean methodology, or Change Management (CCBA or CBAP) certification(s) or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Lean project management principles and methodologies (KANBAN, Scrum, CI, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of change management practices and ADKAR framework.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure and software architecture, data mapping and system bus integration projects and that permits you to engage efficiently with technical experts.
  • Experience with ERP implementation.
  • Experience participating in developing RFPs, identifying, and writing requirements, and reviewing vendors contracts and SOW.

  • Our standard work week is Monday to Friday, 8:30am 4:00pm. A hybrid office program is available to all employees allowing for remote work. A modified work week is also available.
