We are currently looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and qualified teacher to join our team.

Qualifications:

Registered Early Childhood Education Diploma (RECE) and be in good standing with the college of ECE's
Experience in a Montessori school setting is an asset
Current and clear Criminal Reference & Vulnerable Sector Checks.
Valid CPR/ First Aid certification
Level C
Updated Immunization Record

Passion for working with children
Can communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively individually and within a team setting
Possesses strong leadership and organizational skills
Experience with planning and implementing programs

Job Responsibilities:

Meticulously manage the dayto

- day operations of the classroom including, but not limited to: lesson instruction, daily recording, diapering, playground supervision, etc.

Maintain a hygienic, neat, prepared and organized environment consistent with the Montessori pedagogy
Develop effective relationships with parents and communicate with them daily
Provide a program that complies with Ministry of Education requirements for licensed programming while incorporating Montessori Pedagogy
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times
Demonstrate sound knowledge of all relevant sections of the Child Care & Early Years Act
