Reporting to the Director, Market Research, the intern is responsible for the analysis, interpretation, projection and reporting of macroeconomic, real estate market and real estate debt data and will work closely with the real estate finance team on economic and real estate analysis and special projects.


Your responsibilities:


  • Actively contribute to market analysis to guide the Real Estate Finance and Strategy & Risk Management teams in their decision making which may involve gathering information and data, analyzing the data, writing a presentation document, and sharing the information.
  • Participate in the production of quarterly analyses for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Contribute to the development of quantitative and qualitative tools for the monitoring and analysis of real estate and macroeconomic data, which may involve the design of a dashboard (in Power BI) and the implementation of a database to feed the visualization tool.
  • Contribute to various internal special projects

Your profile:


  • Master's degree in economics, finance or strategy;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) oral and written;
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI;
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills;
  • Knowledge of econometric modeling software an asset;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Excellent organizational skills and initiative with a strong sense of priority;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
