Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development Specialist

***: The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in sourcing top talent and supporting the NFI Talent Acquisition Strategy. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will work with HR teams and hiring managers in Canada and the US. With your expertise in recruitment and attraction, you will contribute to building a diverse, talented, and motivated workforce that is dedicated to delivering the next generation of green buses.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Collaborate with HR teams and hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct proactive sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
  • Represent NFI Group of companies at career, college and recruitment fairs and similar events.
  • Report and analyze recruitment metrics to recommend improvements to recruitment process.
  • Support regional HR recruitment teams as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Strong emotional intelligence, with ability to connect and communicate with people of varying backgrounds, job positions, cultures, and communicative preferences.
  • Skilled at organizing events/programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Canada and the US.
  • Detail oriented with experience reporting and analyzing data.
  • Accountable for quality of work output to meet targets.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Less than 10% of travel is required in this position._
