Quality Coordinator - Roles & Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and maintains systems to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

Co-ordinate layouts, process flow, PFMEAs, control plans, inspection plans and other quality documentation to ensure processes are in place which will provide optimum product quality.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
❖ Builds Control Plans, Inspection Plans and PFMEAs from scratch for new launches.
❖ Develop optimized processes through continuous upgrading of Control Plans and Process Inspection Sheets.
❖ Leads Safe Launch plans & implementation. Co-ordinates activities for all new launches.
❖ Coordinate all SPC and Process Capability studies with respect to manufacturing processes.
❖ Acts as a customer liaison for all assigned launches and quality concerns.
❖ Maintains gauge calibration/MSA system.
❖ Evaluates in-process and analytical data, performs root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for process related concerns.
❖ Uses 8D (Or similar as directed by the customer) for problem solving methodology and for product and process improvement.
❖ Assists in the installation, training and startup of new projects, QA Training, and vendor PSW/PPAP's.

❖ Prepare and maintain quality management documentation as PPAP, COC, COA, SOP, and SDS

❖ Coordinate incoming complaints including allocating the complaints to the appropriate department for investigation and tracking resolution times.

❖ Support the QM with internal and external audits. Ensure preparation and compliance for second party and third-party audits.
❖ Implement and monitor continuous improvement functionality and prepare reports for the Quality Management Meeting to allow for an analysis and identification of linked compliance relationships.
❖ Develop and implement Record Management Policies and Procedures, including retention and disposal of records and support the document management system to operate effectively.
❖ Promote and educate on good document management practices i.e. Document creation, approval, publishing, review, archive, disposal, storage and recall.

❖ Other duties, consistent with skills and experience, as directed by the QA manager.
