The City is seeking a Junior Operator to join our dedicated Environmental Services team.
About The City Of Sarnia Located at the mouth of the St. Clair River on the shores of Lake Huron,

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Environmental Technician/Technology program
- Valid class G2 Driver's License with an abstract acceptable to City guidelines
- Operator In Training (OIT) Wastewater Treatment Certificate through the Ontario Wastewater Certification Office (OWWCO) or ability to obtain during co-op term
The Role
This includes preparing plant effluent samples for lab analysis,+process monitoring,+adjusting and maintaining process equipment under+direction of a licensed operator.+greasing pumps and valves,+assisting maintenance and compliance staff as required+general maintenance cleaning of equipment tanks general facility maintenance including cleaning windows floors kitchen and restrooms painting cutting grass other duties assigned.Job description
