What your team does:
The Internal Events team at Clio is responsible for planning and executing events exclusively for Clio employees (also known as Clions).
The team also oversees event promotion and communication to ensure high attendance and engagement, and they coordinate post-event feedback and evaluation to improve the events program continuously.
Ultimately, the goal of the Internal Events team is to create engaging and memorable experiences for Clio employees that foster a strong sense of community and belonging within the organization.
What you'll work on:
- Championing Clio's core values, L&O principles, and our mission to transform the legal experience for all;
- Work closely with the Internal Global Events Lead to assist in the execution of worldclass corporate events and experiences (in person, hybrid, and virtual) that reinforce our culture, drive employee engagement, and create meaningful connections;
- Oversee the coordination, and management for team socials events;
- Organize and execute on all event details, such as decor, catering, entertainment, travel logistics, location, invitee list, special guests or external speakers, equipment, promotional materials, etc;
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure accuracy of our Clion Community Calendar;
- Conduct postevent evaluations, debriefs, and recaps on outcomes in order to Get Better Everyday and improve event quality and impact;
- Attend all companylevel events and events in your closest Hub office (mixers, onsites, etc);
- Have a strong presence in the office, this role has inoffice requirements;
- Crosstrain on reception duties to Thrive as Team Clio and cover the Workplace Experience team as needed;
- Collaborating effectively with stakeholders from across Clio.
- Keeping your event program management and documentation up to date for your manager and stakeholders through Asana;
- Other duties, as required
What you may have:
- 2+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate or agency setting. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and an interest in hosting and facilitating events of all scales. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for creating engaging and memorable experiences for employees. Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis, reporting, and other related tasks. Experience with advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, vlookups, and macros is preferred.
Serious bonus points if you have:
- A degree/diploma in event management.
- Experience in multinational companies.
