We are presently accepting resumes for a number of
Permanent
Full-Time Support Worker III positions.
These positions will be assigned to work in our group homes in
Barrie, working up to 37.5 hours per week.
Compensation Package:
- Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $25.32/hour;
- 11 paid Statutory Holidays;
- Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family;
Following the successful completion of probation:
- Employer paid life insurance, short
- Employer paid vacation and sick time;
- Participation in the Multisector Pension plan;
Minimum Qualifications:
- S.W. diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child & Youth Worker, E.C.E., S.S.W., Nursing, Psychology, etc.) as determined by the employer is required;
- When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees. In your resume, please ensure that you specify the length of your programs;
- Ability to work weekends and holidays;
- Ability to attend team meetings and training as required during daytime hours;
- A valid
class "G" driver's license and own reliable transportation is required;
Role/Duties:
Our Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting.
