Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with contractors, clients, subcontractors, supervisors, managers
- Prepare schedules, work progress, production and other reports
- Supervise and evaluate staff, while completing employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance
- Accomplish project goals by defining a scope and purpose of the project, determining required resources, allocating resources, establishing protocols and standards and scheduling staff
- Assist with project change orders; from pricing to processing & planning the workflow, and assessing cost and schedule impact
- Perform quality assurance and control activities, such as site reviews and ensure adherence to contract requirement
- Administer project closeout; from documents archiving to maintenance/ warranty manuals, etc.
- Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures, prepare and file accident reports
- Follow Duron' Health and Safety Policy and Procedure
- Follow COR Guidelines and industry best practices for a safe workplace
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in
Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience - An ability to supervise, coordinate and collaborate with a team
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, MS Word and Excel skills.
- Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals and objectives
- Attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
- Ability to work well with shifting priorities and change in a fastpaced environment
- Valid Class G driver's license and clean driving record
Must provide driver's abstract_
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
Additional:
- Experience: TTC experience is an asset
