Reporting to:
Operations Engineer
Position Summary:
The Junior Project Manager will report directly to the Operations Engineer, working cross-functionally on the operations team and the project delivery team.
This position is based out of our downtown Calgary office and will require infrequent travel to field sites.
We offer flexible working arrangements, though are looking for someone who prefers to work day-to-day in the office with the team.
Responsibilities:
Project Management Support - Leading procurement & sourcing processes
- Organizing supplier bids
- Purchase Order initiation / sole sourcing forms
- Purchase Order entry into Sage
- Authorization for Expenditure entry & code mapping if necessary
- Contractor Safety and Quality Prequalification upkeep
- Assist in Project cost and schedule tracking
- Filing of Po's, tickets, invoices
- Entry of invoices into Petrosight
- Seek missing documentation, schedule reminders and Asana tasks
- Maintain Contractor Management Database
- Operations Software maintenance
- EZOPS
- Maintain water analysis database
- Manage Power Consumption Programs
- Send out meeting minutes when required (JHSC, monthly safety, etc)
- Various Safety & Regulatory reporting tasks
- Assist in updating monthly water market reports
- Marketing activities, including website changes
- Organizing government granting programs
- Office Supply Orders
- Scheduling meetings (breakouts)
- Other administration tasks as directed by leadership
Qualifications:
Technical:
- New or recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a Canadian Institution
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Proven commitment to health and safety
- Project management software experience would be considered an asset
- Proficiency in Power BI would also be considered an asset
