TELUS Health is looking for casual gym supervisors (independent contractors) to cover for staff vacations and absences at corporate fitness facilities in the Toronto, Markham and Mississauga Ontario areas.

You will be responsible for greeting members, managing the front desk, potentially teaching fitness classes, monitoring the gym to ensure member safety.

Here's how

Greet members in friendly and professional manner in the fitness centre
Answer client questions
Ensure participants practice required cleaning protocols
Monitor gym capacity and member safety
Teach fitness classes (required at some corporate fitness facilities so group fitness certification is preferred)

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

Reliable, punctual and friendly
A post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Kinesiology or workplace fitness/wellness is required
Group fitness certification is preferred (required at some corporate fitness facilities)
Current CPR/First Aid certificate is required
No weekend or late evening hours, however a flexible work schedule is preferred
Must be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen
Must have liability insurance coverage
