    Job Description

    Job Duties Include:

    • Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service
    • Hotel Grounds Manager with planning and execution of seasonal and capital programs and projects
    • Provide coverage for Hotel Grounds Manager as required including purchasing and payroll
    • Follow up on colleague sick calls and assist Supervisors with Absenteeism/WCB procedures
    • Develop/update all equipment and procedural training manuals/guides
    • Train supervisors on all tools, equipment, and procedures and, as required, assist with training colleagues
    • Monitor property cleanliness and ensure standards are being met
    • Mentoring, coaching, and performance management of supervisor and colleagues
    • Provide coverage for other hotel grounds supervisors and assist wherever required
    • Enhance property through various projects
    • Labor intensive work in the form of shoveling, lifting, pushing, walking fast, digging, and assorted tasks
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications

    Your Skills & Qualifications:

    • Previous leadership experience required
    • Previous experience landscaping and snow removal experience is required
    • Previous experience operating large vehicles, skid steer, and machinery is required
    • Must have Class 5 driver's license and driver's abstract in good standing
    • Constant standing and walking throughout shift and must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 70+ lbs.
    • Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures and conditions (snow, heat, rain).
