Eaton's EPG EAS Electrical Automation Solutions division is currently seeking a Product Cybersecurity Specialist.

What you'll do:


In this role you will:


  • Identify and evaluate technologies and partners that can increase Eaton's capabilities to address customer ICS/OT cybersecurity challenges and drive revenue growth for Eaton products and services
  • Help build the capabilities across Eaton through Training and development of new course content
  • Be the voice of customer advocacy both within the Product Cybersecurity Center of Excellence and Divisions
  • Identify and drive partnerships that can address current challenges and industry positioning
  • Execute complex projects, tasks, and assignments with mínimal or strong management direction, depending on project requirements
  • Performs research on new cybersecurity technologies and tools offered in the market place
  • Functions as an internal cybersecurity consultant to various divisions across Eaton
  • Develops and executes initiatives designed to increase the domain expertise and solution efficiency of the Cybersecurity to Engineering group.
  • Work with marketing, engineering, operations, and communications teams to productize and optimize delivery of security features and services, executing gotomarket strategy
  • Support Cybersecurity Services engagement lifecycle and digital solution deployments where needed including engagement shaping, scoping, budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and client expectations
  • Support industry associations, customer facing events and conferences

Qualifications:


Required (Basic) Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's in computer science, Computer Security, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, securing or development power and energy systems
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture and design
  • Industry certifications such as, CEH, GICSP, GCCC, GSEC,CISSP

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or comparable degree from an accredited
  • Experience as a Technical Engineer or consultant particularly in the areas of OT cyber security
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800 82, NIST SP RMF), IEC 62443, NERC CIP, CIS Critical Security Controls (CSC) or other industrial control standards and practices and how to integrate them
  • Experience designing security solutions for distributed systems

Skills:


  • Strong messaging and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to a wide audience using real world examples, visuals, and analogies
  • Ability to influence and work with various technical leads in different organizations.
  • Understanding of basic Legal, Sales, Marketing, and other commercial topics related to ICS/OT cybersecurity.
  • Experience crafting clientready cybersecurity presentations, whitepapers, discussion documents, and RFP responses that are appropriately scoped and technically accurate
  • Ability to interface directly with executives and other senior leaders of different business units.
  • Ability to foster collaboration across global development teams.
  • Abreast of upcoming security development engineering tools, trends, and methodologies.
  • Strong problem solving and reasoning ability, exhibiting technical innovation and creative solutions
