Technical Writer - Hybrid/Remote


We currently, we have an opening for a Technical Writer - Will manage our presentation and publication strategy and manage and maintain our technical content and tools.

This key role provides a critical link between Product Development, Marketing, and Business Development initiatives.


Primary responsibilities of the job:


  • Manage CPD publication and presentation strategy
  • Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
  • Develop and maintain templates and detailed database of reference materials, including internal content, research literature, and regulatory standards
  • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent voice across all documentation
  • Evaluate and update current content
  • Provide support for scientific publications, presentations, and white papers
  • Support corporate quality and improvement process.
  • The employee shall implement the Laboratory Quality Policy and perform their duties in accordance with existing project specific requirements, current Test Methods, study plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), as applicable.
  • Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures and wear required Personal Protective equipment at all times
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Must have a BS in science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Food Science).
  • A degree or certification in technical writing is preferred.
  • 35 years of experience as an effective technical writer
  • Able to provide 35 examples of previous works
  • Experience working in a tobacco/nicotine, consumer products science, or Food Science role is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to build and maintain relationships across laboratory and corporate functions.
