We are looking for a dynamic individual with outstanding leadership qualities who can motivate staff, model excellent customer service, lead projects and build community connections.

You will have superb organizational, communication and analytical skills. As one who is highly collaborative, you successfully inspire creative contributions from others and you possess coaching and mentoring skills that enable your staff to develop and excel

You will work cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of the management team.

With the Manager, you will contribute to and implement the long and short range plans for the branch, identify operational efficiencies, set service standards, and model the EPL service philosophy of Find A Way to Say Yes.

You will recruit, train, supervise and coordinate the work of Library Assistants who provide services and programming.

You will promote a team environment that supports staff in developing their leadership and capacity to meet the Library's objectives.

Job Requirements:

You possess a Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA accredited library school.
You will have a minimum 3 years of directly related experience.
Experience developing, implementing and evaluating library programs and work procedures.

Note:

Satisfactory background screening is required for this position, which includes a Criminal Record Check/Police Information Check.

Pay Band:

$ $59.28 per hour*- Approximately $87,310 - $108,311 per annum based on a 35 hour work week.
