Position Title:

Deskside Support Technician I


Responsibilities:


  • Setup and manage users' accounts in Active Directory, Microsoft Azure and O36
  • Troubleshoot networking issues and coordinate with networking personnel to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with management to prepare field setup, deployment, and demobilization.
  • Assist in inventory management, procurement, and shipment activities.
  • Coordinate with project management teams to utilize tools to control access management for projects.
  • Work with management and coordinate with 3rd party vendors and contractors for IT related projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality about the information being processed, stored, or accessed.
  • Ability to work oncall and other afterhours support needs.
  • Support document control team and Project Information teams with databases and other related tasks, depending on workload.
  • Collaborate with other team members and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Worley Canada Services is seeking an Information Technology Site Support Analyst to work with our Canada East IT team in Bath, ON.
  • Fulltime position months contract position (2 to 3 years).
  • Role will be fully inperson, onsite M-F with half day Fridays (40 hours a week).
  • Provide user support for other Canada East offices.

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience:


  • At least 1year work experience in an IT service desk role.
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment, repetitive tasks, and have physical ability to lift 20lbs.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to be adaptable, manage multiple priorities in highly dynamic and changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy.
  • Effective written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools such as
:

MS Office 365, SharePoint and other document management systems.

  • Able to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills within position to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Critical thinking and problem resolution skills.
  • Experience working within an EPC environment preferred but not required.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:


Required:


  • Post-Secondary Education in an IT field.
