Missions and Responsibilities This position is responsible for providing an excellent level of service to distributors based on continuous monitoring of their orders and maintaining their order process through to delivery and billing. He/she interacts with the CEC, Admin, Logistics and Production departments to ensure the regular and timely needs of the distributors are met. The incumbent acts as an ambassador for these major accounts for all internal and external issues.**
WORKING CONDITIONS: Hybrid remote position and 2-3 days a week in Anjou. May have interactions in the production plant. Willing to travel sporadically to attend regular meetings with distributors.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary contact dedicated to Distributor accounts:
  • Ensures orders are received and entered into the system and communicated internally by the responsible team while adhering to the schedule
  • Communicates all changes to the customer on a regular basis
  • Ensures a rigorous followup of orders in progress.
  • Determines and communicates priorities and customer needs to the production teams.
  • Controls the entire order process up to invoicing.
  • Ensures the accuracy of order data in the systems, updates the systems and uses the systems in place as needed
  • Participates in backorder and critical order management committees and acts as a team player to fulfill necessary needs

Competencies and Profile EDUCATION**:

Degree: DEC in administration, operations management, logistics, business service. Any relevant experience will be considered.

Training: Knowledge and training on welding products (an asset), transportation of hazardous materials, team supervision.

Knowledge: Computer systems, MS Office, G suite, Oracle (An asset)

Bilingualism (oral and written)

  • 5 years of
    experience in customer service and/or distribution sales and/or logistics.

OTHER SKILLS:


  • Technical Skills: Proficient in concepts, tools and methods related to his/her job. Meets the professional requirements of his/her field of activity. Keeps abreast of developments in his/her field.
