Summary:


Reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, the EDI Analyst is responsible for the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) program, electronic order management, and the relationship with Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's third-party EDI provider.

This position ensures accuracy and integrity in internal performance reporting, the vendor chargeback system, scorecard software, data synchronization, and the testing and implementation of key business projects that impact the exchange of electronic data.

This position works closely with internal and external stakeholders, both domestic and international, to maximize profitable operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain functionality and support the execution of daily operations as it relates to the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) program. Serve as the expert in EDI.
  • Support information technology in testing and implementation of EDI projects across the enterprise.
  • Promote the growth and utilization of EDI internally and externally to drive improved vendor performance and compliance.
  • Educate vendors on performance and compliance objectives.
  • Drive the implementation of improvement plans and serve as a representative to further strengthen vendor partnerships. Serve as a representative to further build collaborative partnerships and strengthen working relationships.
  • Develop, execute, and lead process improvement strategies with internal and external teams that focus on driving efficiencies across the supply chain.
  • Promote and drive consistency and standardization in vendor performance and accountability.
  • Support testing and implementation of key business projects that impact EDI. Identify testing needs to support Company initiatives impacting EDI, including the coordination and facilitation of the testing.
  • Supervise resolution of noncompliance issues, including problems with more complex order management systems and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
  • Maintain functionality and support the execution of daily operations as it relates to the key supply chain solutions, including the relationship with the thirdparty providers.
  • Work with the appropriate stakeholders to increase the adoption of our internal tools and collaboration.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably majoring in business, supply chain, or equivalent.
  • 2 to 4 years experience in vendor relations and/or supply chain environment.
  • Experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or equivalent is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external parties.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, continuous improvement environment.
