About the role:


Canadian Blood Services is looking for a
Regular full-time
Field Service Representative 1 to join our dynamic
Process Management team.


The
Process Management team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by providing technical support in various aspects of biomedical engineering.

In this role, you will be responsible for installations, maintenance, and repairs of all site equipment.


Formula for success:


  • Leveraging your excellent customer service skills, you will assist with the coordination of internal and external resources as necessary to implement the equipment program.
  • Drawing on your passion for change, you will propose program and process improvement recommendations to the direct Supervisor.
  • Utilizing your technical and computer skills, you will maintain computerized asset management database records and personal training documentation.
  • You will maintain the equipment, parts inventory and test equipment assed management database as well as perform ad hoc demand maintenance and repairs as directed.

Desired education and skills:


  • Completion of secondary education in Biomedical Electronics Technology (required) or a related Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Technology field at the technician or technologist level.
  • Up to 2 years' experience working in the operations of a healthrelated organization and/or regulated environment.
  • Solid Communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal and external customers.

  • Shift/hours
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 16:00.
  • Travel requirements travel will be required to attend mobile events, and transportation will be provided by Canadian Blood Services.
  • Physical requirements ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs.
