Our Finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst to support company growth.

This position will report to the Director of Finance, and will require 7+ years of experience related to financial planning and analysis, ideally within an architecture/engineering/construction environment.

This is a remote position located within the Eastern Time Zone.


Responsibilities:

• Perform financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
• Report on financial performance and assist with preparing business review presentations.
• Analyze past results, perform variance and rootcause analysis, identify trends, provide commentary.
• Analyze actual vs forecast and/or budget results at sector and consolidated level, identify main drivers, provide commentary
• Analyze WIP and AR accounts and registers, peform DSO and aging analysis
• Analyze and consolidate risks and opportunities register from various sectors.
• Status on cash collections and customer billings on a weekly basis.
• Analyze labor utilization and revenue variances on a weekly basis.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and assist with other duties as requested by Director of Finance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and more than seven years of experience in finance/accounting/FP&A, preferably in an AEC company environment.
• Experience developing financial models, reports, and presentations.
• Strong computer skills as follows:
• Advanced knowledge and demonstrated use of Excel and modern Excel (including use of lookup functions, pivot tables, dynamic array formulas, power query, power pivot)
• Experience in working with BI tool such as Power BI with ability to build dashboards, querying, and data modelling
• Experience in use of Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with use of Deltek Vision is highly preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fastpaced environment
• Ability to work with large quantities of data
