Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in planning, organizing and executing promotions and contests
  • Write promotional proposals and creative briefs
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms
  • Assist in hiring and supervising part time staff to work station on location events
  • Oversee weekly scheduling of part time staff for all station events
  • Perform site checks for all station remote broadcasts
  • Develop logistics for set up of all equipment and overall vision of event to ensure proper representative of brand imaging
  • Ensure all equipment and promotional assets are well maintained
  • Ability to write clear concise logistics for events
  • Schedule regular maintenance of station vehicles
  • Attend all major station promotions and/or client promotions as require or assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by Promotions Director, Local Radio & TV

Qualifications:


  • Post secondary education with marketing/media/communications focus
  • Minimum of 2 years Radio promotions experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly detailed oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Selfmotivated team player with the ability to work well under mínimal supervision
  • Full BC Drivers License
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fastpaced environment with flexibility to adjust work hours depending on deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Photoshop and web design experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms
