We are currently looking for an IT Lead, Integration Services to join our IT team in a Permanent Position.Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Services, you will be responsible for, you will lead a team of Data Integration IT professionals that provide expert-level support of the enterprise data integration platform.
In addition to day-to-day operational support, your team will also participate in the development of new data integration capabilities for technology projects.
As the leader of this team, you will balance both focus areas.
Although technology is your greatest passion, you also possess superior communication skills with the ability to collaborate, influence direction and oversee the evolution of the data integration practice within NS Power.
As a leader of the people, you will also ensure staff are progressing in their careers and they are focused on the right activities to meet the needs of the department and the company.
Essentially, you action a continual service improvement focus to keep current with industry direction and to continuously mature the operational support and technology evolution of the data integration area.
This position reports to the Manager of Infrastructure Services and is a key contributing member of the broader IT Leadership team.
AccountabilitiesYou will lead a team of data integration technology professionals, that strive for operational excellence in the management of the data integration platform
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide sustainable operational support of the current and future data integration platform using IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
Technology scope includes Oracle SOA Suite, Managed File Transfer, and evolving cloud to cloud data integration services.
Ensure 3rd parties engaged to augment project delivery are following NSPI standards.
Participates in technology lifecycle programs and capacity management processes.
Assigns SME resources to participate in technology projects and balances it with operational responsibilities.
Establishes operational readiness review and business as usual transition process for programs and projects.
Ensures operational practices and tactics are delivering the required cyber risk posture (e.g., system patching, configuration standards, asset management, data governance, etc.).
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and ExperienceStrong technical knowledge and experience in managing enterprise data integration platforms with specific focus on the Oracle SOA Suite. Primarily, you will be the source of broad expertise for all data integration matters. You are known to be a proven self-starter and willing to accept additional responsibilities as the position expands.
The ideal fit here is someone who has been involved as a data integration professional and has progressed into a leadership position.
You must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and leading a team of professionals in their development, workload management, coaching and performance evaluation.
You have the experience needed to manage technology within a complex organization, gaining alignment with stakeholders across different functional areas, including those outside traditional IT.
You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, engineering or other related technology discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Information Technology related field.
