Maintenance Worker - London, Canada - York Developments (London)

York Developments is a rapidly growing real estate development company based in London, Ontario. We are seeking a qualified Handyman/Maintenance workers to assist us in completing small maintenance jobs and larger capital projects at our various residential/commercial properties.

This position requires good communication skills and a professional demeanor as you will be dealing with many clients/tenants. In addition, knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and safety standards would be a valuable asset.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works effectively by themselves and is a self starter and team player.

Responsibilities can include, depending on position:
Painting, small repairs and various tasks as required for residential and commercial units.

Handyman:
Framing, drywall, taping, painting, carpentry, tiling and minor plumbing/electrical work, and various tasks as required.


Requirements:

• Driver's license
• Vehicle
• Bondable
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Tools (hand tools and power tools)
• College Diploma or certification in a recognized construction trade/course (preferred)
• 5+ years construction related experience
• Attention to detail
• Professional acumen/good communication skills
• Familiarity with computer programs to assist in completing invoices/time sheets is an asset.

Our properties are mainly in London, Ontario; however, on occasion you may be required to travel out of town.

This is a full-time position.


Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
