About the Role
Uber Canada is looking for several highly analytical, motivated, and organized individuals to join our Mobility teams. The teams you would be joining are at the forefront of the Uber Canada mobility business and are responsible for driving our growth forward


The Earner and Vehicles team is at the forefront of the Uber Canada mobility business and is responsible for a variety of areas including driver growth and experience, licenced products (such as Uber Black and WAV), and increasing electric vehicle adoption.

As a Strategy & Operations associate you will play a critical role growing our business, expanding to new regions and launching new programs for drivers.

This role requires someone who can work well independently and in teams and collaborate with operations managers, marketing managers, customer support, public affairs and legal - leveraging a matrixed organization to achieve business objectives.


The Marketplace & Planning team manages the Canada Mobility P&L, and is responsible for incentives and budget allocation, product pricing, maintaining a balanced marketplace, and developing the business' strategic plans.

The initiatives you will work on will span across pricing, promotion, and product; and you will own them from inception through to execution.

This role will have an immediate impact on the ground, and on the future of one of Uber's most important Ridesharing markets.

You will be asked to take direct responsibility for critical operations, and help us develop and deploy strategies that will strengthen our business into the future.


The Consumer Operations team at Uber Canada launches and scales new mobility products, advances key growth bets, and optimizes the rider journey.

We are passionate about delivering a world-class experience to customers and contributing to the top-and bottom-line growth of Uber.

This role will focus on supporting the launch and scaling of key growth products like Connect and Teens/Family accounts, managing the day-to-day operations to improve the rider experience, and supporting Central Operations and Product teams on Canada rollouts of Rent, Carshare, and other growth bets.

You will be responsible for managing key initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment and stakeholder approvals, and delivery of key programs.

You are both highly operational and entrepreneurial, with a strong eye for business, a hands-on approach, and motivated by building the future of mobility.


What You'll Do

  • Plan and execute projects of varying time horizons and scope with mínimal guidance, requiring stakeholder and project management skills
  • Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes
  • Launch new products in market: Working with Central Ops and Product teams, lead the regional operations for the launch and customer engagement of new growth bets. Ensure alignment across multiple teams to deliver bestinclass customer experiences at every step of their journey.
  • Reporting & Recommendations: This role will require you to deliver strategic recommendations to senior management to drive business decisions, while reporting on performance at city, regional, product, and consumerlevel. You will need a strategic mind with strong business acumen, exceptional analytical skills and strong stakeholder management skills to influence and coordinate across a variety of teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 37 years of experience in roles which included project delivery, process implementation, stakeholder management, and data analysis
  • Datadriven problem solving abilities, with a knack for turning data into actionable insights that inform decisions
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills; experience managing & influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating crossfunctionally
  • Passion for improving user experience and being at the forefront of mobility
  • Great team player with strong, demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL experience
  • Experience building highimpact communication materials for senior audiences
  • Experience in highgrowth operations or at a toptier consulting firm
  • Experience managing and influencing stakeholders and collaborating crossfunctionally
  • Proficiency in additional languages a plus
