POSITION:
MEDICAL IMAGING CLERK_

Primary site: Stratford_

• Casual with Temporary Part-Time x2_

- ***:_ _The Medical Imaging Clerk is responsible for effectively and efficiently performing clerical duties which include but are not limited to patient registration, scheduling of patient exams, answering telephones and a full range of tasks related to maintaining patient imaging records and reports. In addition, the Medical Imaging Clerk may be responsible for communicating patient care requirements and room utilization, as well as interacting with the Radiologists, charge technologists, technologists, nurses, clerks and support staff._

SALARY:_ _$25.89 to $27.48 per hour_
QUALIFICATIONS:_

• Minimum Grade 12 Education _
• Medical Office Administration Certificate _

ABILITIES:_

• Computer literate_
• Advanced keyboarding and data entry skills_
• Sorting, reviewing, checking and filing of various documents_
• Ability to work with mínimal supervision_
• Ability to lift and file above shoulder level_
• Team oriented and customer focused_
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, multitask and be flexible to changing circumstances_
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families and healthcare providers_
• Ability to push/pull a wheelchair_
