We are looking for a Delivery Driver to pick up and deliver materials in the Lower Mainland in a safe and efficient manner.

If you are currently an Electrical Apprentice or have interest in becoming an Electrician, this is the first step for you The position requires a valid BC Driver's License and clean abstract, the Driver will utilize a company vehicle, gas card, and smart phone.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan delivery schedule and route
Load and unload goods and materials
Record information on pickups and deliveries, and vehicle mileage
Operate company vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle
Report any incidents or problems encountered in a timely manner
Complete detailed and accurate documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

BC Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Registered electrical apprentice, desire to be an apprentice, construction experience an asset.
Must be organized, a strong multitasker, and have a clean appearance.
Knowledge of electrical and construction site and materials an asset.
Ability to pass varying levels of security clearance
Previous experience in a driving, logistics, or electrical role would be preferred
Strong written and verbal communication
Excellent problemsolving skills
Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
High School Diploma, or equivalent
