Job Overview:
Journeyman/Apprentice Plumber Responsibilities:
- As a Journeyman/Apprentice Plumber, you will report directly to the Foreman, and will have overall responsibility for assisting in the daytoday operations.
- Installing ABS drainage systems
- Installing pex waterpipe systems
- Installing natural gas systems
- Installing boilers and hot water tanks
- Layout, drilling, cutting, digging, and jackhammering
- Final fixture and trim work (finishing)
- Daily organizing and routine tidying of the work truck.
Journeyman/Apprentice Plumber Requirements:
- Prior experience in the plumbing field preferred, but not required. We are willing to sponsor and train the right apprentice who has a gogetter mentality and is eager to learn.
- Must have basic hand tools.
- Power tools will be provided by AquaMan Plumbing and Heating Ltd.
- Rides to all jobsites can be provided by meeting the work truck at the AquaMan Plumbing and Heating Ltd. headquarters each morning.
- Customercentric mindset.
- Problemsolving skills and decisionmaking abilities.
- Good time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Wage:
$ $50.00 Per Hour (depending on experience)
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Salary:
$25.00-$50.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- plumbing: 1 year (preferred)
