POSITION PROFILE


Under the leadership of the Vice President - Corporate Services, the Director of Business Solutions and IT Infrastructure will be responsible for ensuring the functioning of IT operations and infrastructure for the entire company.

In addition, he/she will ensure the evolution of the infrastructures and contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives in terms of technology.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Business Solutions and IT Infrastructure will be responsible for a multidisciplinary team divided into two components: Business Solutions and Operations Management and IT Infrastructure.

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of experts based in Saint-Jérôme and Las Vegas;
  • Develop and lead IT business strategies;
  • Participate in the planning and monitoring of budgets;
  • Implement policies and processes that better meet the needs of the business;
  • Maintain and develop the IT, office, and telephone infrastructures according to the operational requirements, business needs, and growth of the company;
  • Ensure the resolution of problems related to computer systems;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of these systems;
  • Recommend technology alignments and systems investments;
  • Negotiate, manage and follow up on service agreements with external suppliers;
  • Be on the lookout for new developments and evaluate the relevance of these advances for the organization according to the determined business strategy;
  • Supervise IT technical support activities and ensure satisfaction while respecting predefined IT standards;
  • Responsible for several operational processes such as change management, incidents, problems, configurations, etc.;
  • Analyze IT system performance to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and required upgrades;
  • IT infrastructure Project management ;
  • Mobilize employees to achieve performance objectives by creating a favorable work climate;
  • Manage the performance cycle of its employees and support them in their professional development.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration IT or Computer Science or related field;
  • Minimum 1015 years of relevant experience;
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in managing a team of more than 10 people;
  • Mastery of all aspects of project management and relevant project management experience;
  • Bilingualism essential (French-English spoken and written) ;
  • Expertise in setting up data knowledge base (data mapping and data mining);
  • Experience in managing IT systems with multiple service points;
  • Results oriented, detail oriented and a good influencing skills;
  • Ability to communicate his or her point of view with the company's management;
  • Be proactive and customer service oriented;
  • Be an agent of positive change;
  • Good stress and priority management, ability to work with tight deadlines;
  • Demonstrate leadership;
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask;
  • Collaborative team player;

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • The position requires travel within the United States.
