    Job title: Respiratory Therapist

    Description

    Are you a skilled professional seeking a challenging role in respiratory care? This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple areas, including outpatient diagnostics and inpatient support.

    Key Responsibilities:


    This role will be part of a collaborative team working in various settings, such as outpatient diagnostics, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, emergency department, ICU support for respiratory patients, and community-based care through partnerships with local healthcare teams. Key responsibilities include:

    • Providing patient education on COPD, asthma, and chronic respiratory disease
    • Smoking cessation support through the STOP Program
    • Promoting health and wellness through education and outreach
    • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. We welcome applications from registered respiratory therapists who are eager to take their career to the next level.

    Benefits:


    Relocation assistance available for candidates relocating from outside the area
    Competitive salary range: $38.35 to $53.28 per hour, as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement
    Eligibility to enroll in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
    Generous paid vacation and benefits coverage, as outlined in the OPSEU Collective Agreement

    Requirements:


    To be successful in this role, you must have:

    • A degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
    • Certification by the C.S.R.T. as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.)
    • Registration and licensure with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO)
    • Bilingualism is an asset
    • Ability to travel as required
