Whyte's Foods is a family-owned food processing business that began in
1892 and is the largest producer of pickles, relish and maraschino cherries in Canada. We are currently looking to hire a sanitation worker for our night shift at the Wallaceburg facility
. Starting rate of $21.00 per hour (includes $2.00 night shift premium).

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for nightly line cleaning and sanitation.
Use chemicals and cleaning agents to clean and sanitize various food manufacturing equipment.
Disassemble, thoroughly clean, and reassemble large machinery and equipment.
Assist coworkers if necessary.
Attend all training for Sanitation, Health & Safety, and Food Safety.
Adhere to and maintain compliance to all company policies, rules, and regulations.
Other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a Sanitation department.
Available to work straight night shift ( 11pm 7:30 am) Monday
Friday.
Must be physically capable to perform strenuous manual labour such as moving heavy machinery.
Must be able to wear all appropriate safety equipment.
Able to work independently and as a team.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Working at Heights certification considered an asset.
