Description

We are seeking experienced Woodworkers, Cabinetmakers and Apprentices located in Surrey/Delta/Vancouver. Full time or Contract work.

What We Do:

We build Museum& Science Center Exhibits, Restaurant Interiors, Public Art installations, and many other diverse projects. The work is interesting and definitely not boring. Projects include interactive displays and sophisticated, custom millwork creations, which require a skilled team of versatile builders and crafters.

Responsibilities:

Fabrication of complex shapes using various build methodologies
Shaping lumber and other material such as plywood, plexi glass, foam, exotic woods etc.
Cabinetry& Millwork
Create "finish ready work" for the paint and staining process

This Position Requires:

A motivated person with a keen interest in creative work
Very good communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work in a fastpaced and goaloriented environment and adapt quickly to new procedures.
The ability to adapt quickly to new building methodologies
The ability to Read blueprints, drawings and sketches
Proficiency and accuracy with hand tools, power tools, and sliding table saw is expected

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years in Cabinet Making/joinery or minimum 4 years in the general woodworking industry with shop experience.
A valid Driver's license
Health and Safety certificate
