Description

The sales clerk/cashier position is responsible for providing efficient and friendly service to customers and for maintaining excellent store operating standards at all times.

New store opening 2023

Key Responsibilities:

Provides a high level of customer service by establishing contact, greeting customers and ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintains a balanced float while on shift, reporting and accounting for any discrepancies
Initiates opportunities for additional sales
Faces and displays merchandise
Ensures products are scanning correctly and advises management of any discrepancies
Demonstrates consistent growth in product knowledge and product changes
Handles products and operates equipment according to regulations and company policies and procedures
Demonstrates a high level of professional and ethical standards by adhering to all company policies and procedures
Participates in maintaining a prosperous and enjoyable work environment for all staff
Assists in receiving and storing products according to company policy
Maintains the privacy and confidentiality of all sales and related information for Urban Cellars

We want our team members to have:

Previous cashier experience in a fast paced environment
Previous customer service experience
Experience in the retail or hospitality liquor industries
Good math and problem solving skills

Must have open availability and the flexibility to work nights and weekends
